Indian female shopper’s willingness to try a new product is quit evident in a recently Online Survey conducted by India. 98.8% of 515 Indian female respondent said they look for newly launched grocery product while they shop.

More female grocery shoppers buy newly launched grocery products. In the survey conducted by 53.2% female shoppers said that they prefer buying newly launched grocery product over their regular grocery product. But what came out as surprise in the survey that a large numbers of Indian female shoppers were not certain whether the product which they picked is newly launched or is product which was already on shelves.

Importance of Brand Name for female buyers while purchasing new grocery product

Female shoppers of India trust Big grocery store Brands. More than 70% respondents in the online survey conducted said that for them Big Brand name is very important or important, while 28.54% said Big Brand Name is somewhat important for them.

Brand Name Importance is India’s only website which offers unbiased ratings and reviews of newly launched grocery products. The website is community of more than 70,000 Home Testers, who are offered to test the products at home. The website also recently launched iOS and Android based Mobile application “NEw Product Watch” which allows shoppers to scan the newly launched grocery product while they are shopping/ in store and read opinions of other shoppers on products.
