It’s our social obligation

In our times when we were in school, while learning English, an essay on Cow was integral part of the syllabus. And the first sentence of that essay was “Cow is a domestic animal”.

Similarly all these years, I believed that we, as human being are social animals. We live in a society and its hard to separate us from the society. What happens in society effect us directly and indirectly. But it appears that in changed times, this is chancing very fast. I find that we are getting converted in to a society of self centered people. We are becoming insensitive, as many of the things don’t effect us directly. Or we have become thick skinned that nothing hurts or able to ignite anger within us. […]

Women of India are not safe from rape crime anymore

Sorry if any of you (particularly women readers) felt the above heading offending or it seems to be preposterous. But I have no reason to buzz from what I wrote in my heading, as that is what, at least Honorable Supreme Court of India wants me to conclude.

I do not recall when I came across about this topic. But just above a month back I read some where about a judgement passed by Supreme Court Bench in a gang rape case. Since than that news kept nibbling my soul and mind and made me to search for the right information and the copy of the said judgement. […]

Happy that Anna Hazare ends his 97 hours fast.

Happy that people have tasted the success of people’s power.

Happy that people are awake.

Happy that faith in democracy returns.

Happy that people’s voice is being heard.

Happy that protest is over though a long way still to go.

Happy that democracy prevails at it’s best.

Happy that Civil Society first time participated in Free India.

Happy that current generation now know, what they can do.

Happy that Anna was able to Unite the Nation.

Happy that common man came forward in support in Fight Against Corruption.

Happy that Gandhian way of protest is once again proved to be right.

Happy that Government, understands the people’s sentiments.

Happy that we can say we have still have souls.

Happy that people of this country are still willing to be on street for better Nation.

Happy that we discover NEW INDIA in this protest of 97 hours.

Happy that protest can be silent and we don’t need CLOSURE and VIOLENCE.

Happy that people of India know that violent protested sponsored by politician are not correct way of protesting.

Happy that press came forward to support the people’s movement. […]

April Fool Day Google Motion

Google did it again and left many wondering why they are the best. April 1st 2011 saw flood of the posts on facebook, twitter and email viral regarding Google lunching a new interactive tool “Google Motion,” and everyone got ready to check our the latest offering of the Google’s. And no one could resit checking on the news. People only realised it later when they tried downloading the application that this was the April Fool Day prank by the Google.

Though I was also one of the people, who got convinced with the prank but I couldn’t stop admiring the brilliance of the prank. […]
