Wikipedia definition of silence is:

Silence is the relative or total lack of audible sound. By analogy, the word silence may also refer to any absence of communication, even in media other than speech. Silence is also used as total communication, in reference to non verbal communication and spiritual connection.

In 1966 P. Simon released his album: Sound of Silence. And the song which was written in 1964:

Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
‘Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turn my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

“Fools,” said I, “you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you”
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said “The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sound of silence.

I have been keeping silence on this blog for a while and some of you might have thought I am over with my blog writing. So I thought what could be better than breaking the silence with a note on silence. Silence is louder than word and people who surely know understand that I never like to be remain silent. And if I am, I busy onto something very pressing and important.

My silence was due to too many things happening at work, Specially the new project “Home Tester Club” and which called for lots of preparation. Finally last week we were able to officially launch the website and response has been unprecedented. So I can relax and connect with the readers whom were left with nothing to read from me. Hope in near future I will be able to manage my schedules and stay in touch of you all through my blog.
